Q: You say you’re not good at drawing cute girls, but how did you finalize the designs for female characters like Hououmaru or Nui? Mob characters represent the show’s world, so I spent a lot of time on mob characters and I want anime shows to draw them more carefully from now on. And they would be drawn without a lot of attention, so they’re not likable. S: Usually when you’re watching anime, there isn’t a whole lot of love given to the background mobs.
